The Verge Names Haply’s MinVerse One of the Most Fun Technologies at CES 2026

The Verge selected our MinVerse haptic mouse as the “Most Fun” technology in its CES 2026 awards.

The recognition followed a hands-on visit to the Haply booth, where the publication experienced demonstrations involving haptics, robotic control, simulated materials, and three-dimensional sculpting.

Among a show filled with robots, displays, connected devices, and AI-powered products, MinVerse stood out by making digital interaction feel physical.

A different way to work in 3D

Traditional computer mice are designed primarily for two-dimensional movement across a screen.

Three-dimensional design presents a different challenge. Creators work with width, height, depth, volume, and surface characteristics, but often control those forms using a flat input device.

We designed MinVerse as a compact three-dimensional haptic mouse that makes digital interaction feel more natural.

Users can move through a 3D workspace and receive force feedback from compatible applications. This allows them to feel contact with digital models instead of relying exclusively on visual feedback.

Feeling a digital model

When MinVerse is used with compatible three-dimensional design software, users can physically interact with the form while working.

The device responds as the virtual tool reaches the model. This can help users recognize surfaces, explore shapes, and make adjustments through a combination of sight, movement, and touch.

The experience can feel closer to shaping a physical material than operating a conventional cursor.

At CES 2026, we demonstrated MinVerse with Geomagic Freeform.
