Jeremy Clément

Software Developer

Jeremy Clément, Software Developer at Haply Robotics, is a seasoned engineer with a rich and diverse background in software development, infrastructure, and interactive technologies. With expertise spanning animation, video games, virtual reality, and robotics, he has built and optimized complex systems while working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

His career began in 2013 when he was approached by Dwarf Animation Studio—then a small 3D/VFX company with just 10 employees—to help build an infrastructure capable of supporting over 120 CG artists and a large rendering farm. Over the next four years, Jeremy played a key role in shaping the studio’s pipeline, developing expertise in Linux, security, Bash scripting, Python, RabbitMQ, RESTful APIs, and service-oriented architecture (SOA). His contributions helped the studio evolve into one of France’s leading animation companies, working with major brands such as Cartier, Netflix, and Disney.

In 2017, Jeremy shifted his focus to game development and joined a VR startup in Canada, working alongside two talented CG artists with ambitions to create their first video game. Leveraging his experience in infrastructure and software architecture, he helped streamline development processes and improve efficiency. However, the team soon pivoted after securing a partnership with a communication agency, leading to their first major contract—a serious game developed for the international firm Total.

With just four months to relearn Unity and adapt to its latest updates, Jeremy single-handedly developed the entire game while collaborating with the artists on visuals. The project was a resounding success, earning praise from the client and paving the way for even larger opportunities. Soon after, the team secured another high-profile contract—this time a complex, large-scale serious game for Crédit Agricole and LCL, engaging thousands of employees across France and Belgium in competitive gameplay over a four-month period. Jeremy led the development, designing the gameplay, UI, AI, and secure backend infrastructure, including encrypted communication and a distributed database on Google Cloud Platform capable of handling 10,000 concurrent connections.

At Haply Robotics, Jeremy brings his wealth of experience in software architecture, game development, and real-time applications to the field of haptic and immersive technologies. His ability to tackle complex challenges, adapt to new technologies under tight deadlines, and optimize system performance makes him a crucial asset to the team, driving innovation in next-generation interactive systems.
